Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Destin Thanksgiving Part II

We went to the beach a little before lunch today. Robert was awake for a few minutes this time...

but quickly went to sleep. The water was pretty chilly.

Boys being boys... Robert doesn't stand a chance.

My Little Turkey

This onesie has to be the cutest thing I have seen in awhile. You can't see the "L" in the picture, but the onesie says "Little" beside the the turkey. I hate that Thanksgiving is almost over...

The Face

What can I say... I am in love with a face. After looking at these pictures, I hope you have some idea why... Although, I was never able to get pictures of the actual expressions I wanted to capture...

Destin Thanksgiving Part I

Will's parents have rented a beach house in Destin again this year for Thanksgiving. It has been really enjoyable this year, so far. We arrive earlier than we though Sunday afternoon, so Em was able to spend about an hour-and-a-half before her dad got here to pick her up.

Here are some pictures of Robert's first trip to the beach.

Emma Spight had fun watching the men feed the seagulls.

Emma Spight has had sooo much fun holding Robert. She, like Emma Lee, wants to hold him ALL the time...

Mabel continues to say how much Robert looks like Will...

More pictures to come...

Em's Thanksgiving Program

Emma's Thanksgiving Program at school was this past Friday. The first few pictures are kind of dark because I took them during the program. Our seats were far enough away from the stage that my flash didn't help. Also, we were seated in a corner and due to where Emma was placed on the stage, it was kind of hard to see her...

Here is a picture I borrowed from Ms. Nicole's blog of the whole class.

Emma's painting is the one above her head to the left.

This was the cutest project idea. Each child was supposed to disguise his or her own Tom Turkey.

Emma disguised her Tom Turkey as Sleeping Beauty. She came up with the idea all on her own. Check out "Our Kinder Corner" blog to see other turkeys from the class.

Pensacola Day 2

I was able to get a few more pictures on Sunday before we left. Here is Uncle Orrin with Robert.

Aunt Amy with Robert.
Uncle Joey and Emma.

My grandmother "Mom" and Emma.

Sleeping Baby

Here are some pictures of Robert all "sacked out"...

and sprawled out.

These were especially cute to me because normally he will only sleep all wrapped up like this:

Emily was truly a lifesaver to bring these larger sized swaddlers to us. Man, I wish we had a Babies R Us here!!!

Robert and Flynn

Lane and Flynn are here from New Zealand. This picture was taken last Wednesday. They will be here until after Christmas, so I'm sure more pictures are to follow.

Pictures for the Australian Members of the Family

Here are some pictures of Robert with Aunt Betty and Uncle Tony. The pics are about a month old, but I am posting them because I don't think Aunt Betty and Uncle Tony got to see them before they left. Aunt Betty and Tony went back to Australia the last week in October, and these were taken about a week before they left.

Robert and Aunt Betty were having a great "conversation."

Uncle Tony is quite the "baby whisperer." He can quite his grandchildren when no one else can, and appears to have the same effect on Robert (not that Robert needs to be quited much)...

Mornings at Our House

Good mornings in our house start out looking like this:

And quickly look like this:

I have learned that things are much better if Robert "wakes" Emma up. She is in a much better mood this way, and since he is a "morning" baby, he doesn't seem to mind helping me out.

There is only one flaw to my plan; some mornings she doesn't want to let him go.

I would much rather our mornings look like this than the alternative, which consists of tears and raised voices...

Pensacola

We are in Pensacola this weekend to visit my family. I felt like I really needed to come with my parents since my doctor wouldn't let me come down when my grandfather died. Robert is meeting everyone here for the first time.

Here is a picture of Robert with my grandmother.

And here he is with my father and my father's mother (same grandmother as above)...

These are the only pictures I have taken so far because everytime anyone else has held him he has of course immediately thrown up on them. I hope I can get more pictures tommorrow. If I do, I will post them when I can. Also, be on the lookout for pictures taken in the past that I have not had a chance to post yet...

Crazy Camera

Pay no attention to the dates on any of the pictures I have posted. They were taken with my mother's camera. For some reason she insists on keeping the date stamp on but won't ever set the camera with the correct date...

Robert's Baptism

It's terrible when you realize that your friends have posted pictures of your son's baptism and you haven't! Robert did really well. Of course, he started to get hungry right before it was time for us to go up for his baptism. I think he did it just so that I wouldn't take his pacifier away...
Here we are with Bryan after the service.

Robert in his christening gown. The gown was one that we had made out of my mother's wedding gown when Emma was a baby.

Baby Swap!!! I held Savannah while Emily held Robert.

Halloween

We went to Cathy and Sid's house on Halloween night in between moving the last of our stuff out of the Chester house. The four of us started trick-or-treating together, but Robert and I bailed about half way into it and went back to the house to warm up. When Emma and Will got back we took a family picture.

As you can tell, I love coordinating costumes. The camera died after we took this, the one and only picture I got that night. I plan on putting Robert back in his costume to fake some pictures. Also, I have a feeling I won't be able to keep Em out of hers, so look for some more pictures of her in her costume to be posted too.
